Hello, and welcome to Coaching at the Cottage!
If you’re seeking more joy, peace, and freedom, then we need to talk.
My name is Kylea Asher, and I am passionate about helping people discover their life purpose; experience more freedom, peace, and joy; and build better lives.
I start with one basic premise—you are the hero and author of your own life story, and you hold wisdom potent enough to help you attain what you want. My job as a caring guide is to ask the powerful questions, teach the empowering tools, and hold space as you tap into your core essential self and cultivate a radiant life.
And we’re not talking about the life that others want for you or that you “think” will bring you happiness. But the life that gently beckons from the deepest part of your essential nature—the life you were brought here to lead.
I have coached countless others who once felt confused, anxious, adrift, off course, or just “meh.” I’ve been there, too. I used to think that I would find happiness when (“fill-in-the-blank”) happened, but through many years of my own coaching and training, I’ve learned how to build a life of great personal meaning and satisfaction from the inside-out.
In addition to experience and a compassionate presence, I have a resume full of training, skills, and education. My career spans nearly two decades in education, school and non-profit leadership, as well as coaching and leading workshops.
I am a master-certified life coach, a master-certified enneagram teacher, and a credentialed coach through the International Coaching Federation (ICF), the gold standard of coaching certifications. A graduate of Martha Beck’s Wayfinder Life Coach Training program, I studied with New York Times bestselling author and world renowned life coach, Dr. Martha Beck, for master coach training. In addition to coaching, I teach and present workshops on the enneagram, flow state, and other personal and organizational development topics, and I am an instructor for future coaches through Martha Beck, Inc.
I am a summa cum laude graduate of Emory University, where I studied identify formation and human development, and I hold an MA in education from Antioch University–Santa Barbara, and a PhD in education (curriculum and instruction with a minor in human development) from Indiana University–Bloomington.
I live in Indianapolis with my husband and two children and am currently working on my first book.
